Free and Reduced School Meal Application Available

For the past two school years, all Hampton Township School District students were eligible for free school meals (breakfast and lunch).  The federal government funded these meals through several COVID-19 relief acts. 

There was no requirement to complete free and reduced applications during these two years. This federal government will not extend this program for the 2022-23 school year. Therefore, if you would like to apply for free and/or reduced meals for your student(s) for the 2022-23 school year, you will need to complete a free and reduced application, as was the process prior to the 2020-21 school year.

The 2022-23 school year application is currently available here. You may also get an application from your child’s school office.

The 2022-23 meal costs are as follows:

Breakfast

Elementary and Secondary Paid Breakfast: $1.25

Reduced Breakfast: $0.30

Free Breakfast: $0.00

Lunch

Elementary Paid Lunch $2.50

Secondary Paid Lunch $2.80

Reduced Lunch $0.40

Free Lunch: $0.00

The only way to receive free or reduced-price breakfast or lunch in 2022-23 is by submitting a Free and Reduced Application for approval.
